Help your child grow up speaking all the languages of your family.
Tell Voci which languages live in your family. Voci works out what needs attention this week and gives you a few simple things to do in moments you already have, like breakfast or bath time. There is nothing to plan.

Language should leave the screen
A child does not pick up a language from a lesson on a phone. They pick it up from the people around them, in the moments they share every day. So that is where Voci puts it.
A language app
- Learn the word for dog
- Tap the right picture
- Earn points
- Finish the lesson and close the app
Voci
- See a dog on your walk
- Say the same short phrase every time you do
- Your child understands it because it is about the dog in front of them
- Later they use it for a cat, a bus, a friend
Built around who speaks what in your home
Voci starts by asking which languages your child hears, and who speaks each one: you, a grandparent, the nursery.
Then it decides where your time goes each week. A language that is doing well is left alone, so the one that needs help gets it. Today never has more than three things on it.

How a phrase becomes your child’s language
The same small cycle, week after week. Each phrase is chosen for what your child can nearly do, and each one comes back until it belongs to them.
- 1A few phrasesVoci gives you three or four lines for a moment you already have, with what they mean and how they sound.¿Dónde está el patito?
- 2Said at homeYou use them at bath time, breakfast or on the walk to nursery. Nobody sits down for a lesson.
- 3The same words come backA few days later the same question returns with the teddy at bedtime and the shoes in the morning.¿Dónde está el osito?
- 4Understood, then spokenFirst your child understands. Then points. Then answers with a little help, and one day on their own.
- 5Then the next stepVoci keeps practising what is still new, lets go of what already works, and adds the next useful thing to say.
Tonight: bath time, in Spanish
This is what Voci looks like in a real evening. Press a line to hear it the way you would in the app.
At bath time
- ¿Dónde está el patito?Where is the duck?DON-de es-TA el pa-TEE-to
- El agua está calentita.The water is warm.el A-gwa es-TA ka-len-TEE-ta
- Ya salimos.Time to get out.ya sa-LEE-mos
Say them while it is happening. Anna does not have to answer.
A few days later, the same question
Anna is not memorising a lesson. She is learning what “¿Dónde está…?” means, because it keeps doing real work: finding the duck, the teddy, her shoes.
You will start speaking it too
Anna’s dad did not speak Spanish when she was born. Voci gives him the phrase, what it means, how it sounds and the moment to use it. He needs the card less every week.
When he says a line without looking, he taps once to tell Voci. Lines he knows come round less often, and new ones take their place.
If the whole family is learning a language together, Voci plans for that too and gives everyone a part.
Week 1
¿Quieres más?
Do you want some more?
kee-E-res MAS
He reads it off the card at breakfast.
A few weeks later
¿Quieres más?
He says it without opening Voci. Anna answers “¡Sí!”
Voci: “You don’t need this line on your card as often now, so we’re resting it.”

A short story with Voci, using the same words
Some evenings your child plays a four-minute story with Voci. He asks for the duck, the teddy, the shoes, in the language your family is keeping, and waits for an answer.
Each story ends by sending your child off to do something real with you. No streaks, no hearts, no points, and nothing that gets sad when you close it.
Progress you notice at home
Voci tells you what has changed in plain words, and only when something really has. There are no scores, levels or percentages anywhere.
Anna first answered “¿Dónde está…?” with her mum. Now it has happened with her dad too.
This started at bath time. Now it has happened at breakfast.
A few weeks ago Anna pointed. Now she says “¡Aquí!”
An example of the updates Voci writes.
Every object your child taps was drawn on paper
Pencil and coloured pencil, scanned, and put on the screen the size they were drawn. Twenty-five objects so far, and Voci himself six times over: every pose is a whole new drawing of him, not the same fox with a different face. When your child taps the duck, it is the duck somebody sat down and drew.
The paper grain is the paper. Nothing here has been traced over or tidied up.
What we never do
- No advertising, and no third-party analytics.
- We only ask for your child’s birth month and year, never the date.
- The microphone stays off unless a parent turns it on.
- Nothing your child says is recorded or uploaded.
- Deleting a child or your account removes it from our database straight away.
- This page loads no third-party scripts, not even for fonts.
Each of these is built into the code and checked by automated tests.

Who made it
Voci is a small family project. One person draws the characters by hand, on paper. None of them are generated.
The backgrounds are made with an image tool, then checked and approved by a person before they ship. Nothing is generated on your child’s device, and nothing about your family is used to make pictures.
